Birge and Fuller Beehive Candlestick "Wagon Spring" Clock, Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1850, painted zinc Roman numeral dial over the transfer-decorated tablet flanked by a pair of "candlesticks," the lower door with transfer painted tablet with pendulum aperture of red flowers, inside a printed maker's label, thirty-hour time and strike "accelerating lever" or wagon-spring clock, ht. 21 3/4 in. Provenance: Chris Bailey; Terry and Karen Brotherton.
