Two Three-Gallon Advertising Crocks, Rice's Landing and Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, c. 1870s, each with blue decorated incised rims, applied lug handles and floral motifs above stenciled markings; one reading "FROM/JOHN KEIL/GROCER/Lawrenceville," the other "EXCELSIOR WORKS/Isaac Hewitt, Jr./RICES LANDING, PA./3.," (minor imperfections), ht. 13 1/2, 13 1/4 in. respectively.
