Tin-glazed Earthenware Casket Inkstand, England, c. 1760, probably Liverpool, the rectangular form with overhanging top pierced with large center hole flanked by four holes and bordered with six holes to either side, all set on an overhanging foot supported on ogee bracket feet, blue decorated, the top with simple dots, each long side with landscape revealing two gabled houses, each short end with a skiff with boatman, lg. 5, wd. 2 1/2, ht. 2 1/4 in.
