Large-scale Carved and Painted Boston and Maine Railroad Set, constructed by John Oliver Stacey (1880-1924), Fitchburg, Massachusetts, c. 1907, carefully constructed and detailed wooden set includes locomotive and tender, two boxcars, a cattle car, a flatcar, a gondola, a caboose, and approximately twelve feet of wooden track, the locomotive marked in white paint on the side of the cabin "BOSTON. MAINE" and the tender marked in white paint "1907," locomotive lg. 29 in.
