Mahogany and Cherry Inlaid Elliptical-front Bureau, attributed to Joseph Rawson, Providence, Rhode Island, c. 1810-15, the top with inlaid edge and ovolo corners on a case of cockbeaded drawers with central oval wavy birch panels with inlaid bellflower swags, all bordered by stringing with quarter-engaged, ring-turned, reeded posts ending in vase- and ring-turned legs, replaced knobs, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 38 1/2, wd. 40, dp. 21 in.
