Powder Blue-glazed Porcelain Jar, China, 19th century, oviform with rounded shoulder and a raised bisque neck and mouth, resting on a bisque foot ring, white-glazed base, the carved openwork wood cover inlaid with a hardstone bi disk, with a round wood stand, jar ht. 8 1/4 in. Provenance: The descendants of Dudley L. Pickman (1779-1846), and Charles G. Loring (1828-1902) of Massachusetts.
