Sally Bishop (American, 1936-1994) Union Chugama 14 . Signed, titled, and dated "Union Chugama 14/Sally Bishop 1989" l.r. Mixed media on paper, 29 1/2 x 41 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Water staining to the backing board. N.B. Ms. Bishop, a Worcester artist and art history teacher, was born in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio, earned a teaching certificate at Ohio State University, and a received her master's degree in painting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her paintings and drawings were exhibited at the Arden Gallery on Newbury Street.
