Exquisite Voluminous Satsuma Faience Vase, circa 1900, with a Foo-Dog Finial Cover, horned serpent ring handles (with minor loss) and hand-painted and gilt accented panel scenes depicting a battle on one side and a royal court scene on the other side. The vase measures 18 inches in diameter (just below the handles) by 39 inches to the top of the finial. There are a few minor chips and loss but in general the vase is in very good condition for its age. The label on the inside of the lid reads Bazar de Sienia, 347 Sardoni, Montevideo. The vase rests on a carved wooden stand measuring 12 ½ inches in diameter by 26 inches high. AGOPB Will No Longer Ship Nor Pack Items.
