May Wilson (American, 1905-1986) Untitled Signed and dated "MAY WILSON/SEPT 1962" on the reverse. Mixed media including lace, fabric, and pigment on a plywood support, 26 1/4 x 7 1/2 in. (66.5 x 18.8 cm), framed. Condition: Good. Provenance: Ex collection of Charles Percy Parkhurst (1913-2008), Williamstown, Massachusetts. Parkhurst was a part of the so-called Williams Art Mafia. He worked as a museum curator, professor, and was one of the "Monuments Men."
