After Cornelius Tiebout (American, 1777-1832) Battle of Lexington Signed on the reverse "Painted by/ [illeg. ] Rogers/ Aug 1834." Oil on canvas, sight size 20 x 30 in., in molded gilt frame, the reverse side with an old black and white photograph of the apparent back of the canvas showing signature inscription. Condition: Lined, few small spots of retouch and a retouched scratch at center of canvas.
