Two Oak Joint Stools, England, 18th century and later components, one with a stop-fluted carved frieze, later hinged drop-front enclosing a narrow compartment, on slender cup-and-cover turned legs joined by stretchers and terminating in block feet, ht. 24 wd. 18, dp. 13; the other with a hinged lid and front panel carved with a stop-fluted register, on inverted baluster legs joined by a low stretcher and terminating in block feet, ht. 19, wd. 18, dp. 11 1/8 in.
