Four-piece Coin Silver Tea Service, Philadelphia, c. 1815, Harvey Lewis, maker, each piece monogrammed, with a grapevine register interspersed with Bacchus heads, on rectangular bodies further mounted on four ball feet, teapot, covered sugar bowl, open waste bowl, and creamer, teapot ht. 8 in., approx. 70.3 troy oz. Provenance: Purportedly given as a wedding gift to Mary Eliza Sevier (1799-1884) in 1819, thence by decent to present owner. Additional information available upon request.
