Pen and Ink Calligraphic Exercise of "George Washington," Luther Tasker, early 19th century, composed of a central oval surrounded by eagles and cherubs, the interior of the oval with a portrait of Washington surmounted by angels, (tears, creases), 16 3/4 x 20 3/4 in. (sight), in a burl veneer frame. Note: An inscription in the lower right indicates that, Luther Tasker was a teacher of calligraphy.
