Two Ersari Torbas

Two Ersari Torbas, West Turkestan, late 19th century/early 20th century, one with three square medallions each inset with an ivory eight-pointed star in octagon and flanked by smaller octagons on a red-brown field, within a diamond in stripe border, 1 ft. 3 in. x 4 ft. 6 in., and one with a maroon field with three large ikat-type medallions and two half medallions flanked by ivory ram's horn motifs, within contiguous diamond and barber pole- patterned borders, 1 ft. 7 in. x 4 ft. 9 in.
