Oil on canvas, each seated in front of red drapery with a landscape beyond, the gentleman holding a book, the lady wearing several pieces of fine jewelry, 35 1/2 x 27 1/2 in. (sight), in modern black frames. Condition: Relined, each with areas of retouch around their heads.
