"W. H. BLAKE, 2D" Polychrome Reverse-painted Trade Sign on Glass, G.W. Nichols Fine Glass Signs, possibly Brandon, Vermont, the company name above a crest lettered "ARCHITECTURAL IMPLEMENTS" and depicting a tree and a cow in a mountainous landscape, flanked by rampant beasts, above a blue banner lettered "JOINERS' TOOLS," with further lettering below detailing the full range of products available, and the town "Swanton, VT," all surrounded by black and green spandrels, (paint losses), 41 1/4 x 29 in. overall, in original molded walnut frame and gilt liner.
