Civil War-era Haversack, c. mid to late 19th century, off-white cotton drill bag and strap, with riveted leather closure strap and iron buckle, bottom of the bag with an ink design of an Indian with a war club (possibly a mill mark from the bolt of cloth). Provenance: The collection of Denis E. Reen. Note: Included is a note stating that this haversack was purchased from Bannermans in 1955, and that it was found among signal corps equipment.
