Rococo Revival Carved Walnut Sideboard, possibly Alexander Roux, New York, c. 1865-70, the arched, molded, and paneled back with naturalistic carving of fruit and leafage on the crest centering on a convex marble panel, the pierced brackets supporting the shelf above the marble top with molded edge and ovolo corners on the case of four drawers and four hinged doors with arched panels, old surface, ht. 90 1/8, case wd. 61, dp. 24 in.
