Pisgah Forest Pottery Cameo Pitcher Art pottery North Carolina, c. 1932 Pitcher with loop handle, the lower body turquoise glazed, an upper band of matte green with raised figures of settlers on horseback and an ox-drawn covered wagon, beige interior, raised stamp 1932, maker's mark, Pisgah Forest, ht. 7 in. Note: Walter B. Stephens (1876-1961) founded the pottery in 1914 best known for its turquoise and innovative crystalline raised glazes.
