ink and color, depicting a mountainous landscape, the corner of a stone wall supporting a finely detailed pavilion behind a cover of mist and a single tall pine tree, with three figures on a gated path, a cascading stream in the foreground, bearing poetic colophon and dated seventeenth year of the Republic (1928), signed Beiping Bai Zongwei Zuo, with two seals to the upper left register, bearing an additional seal to the lower right corner, mounted on silk as a scroll.
