Housed in custom crushed green morocco solander box with previous owner's initials engraved in gilt to interior. First edition in book form, first issue, with page 213 mispaginated as 113; page 134, line 12 showing the misspelling "affetcionately;" and page 166, 5 lines up lacking "l" and "f" in "himself." With 16 etched plates by Hablot K. Browne ("Phiz"), including frontispiece and extra title vignette. Minor rubbing to boards; light wear to slipcase; hinges starting.
