With three engraved plates. Presentation copy, presented to him from J.T. Fields in a pencil inscription on the f.f.e.p. With an autographed letter signed ("Wm. H. Prescott"), one page, 1845, to George Ticknor, and an additional autographed letter unsigned, in the hand of George Ticknor, one page, May 27, 1965, addressed to Charles Hart, both laid in. Rubbing to boards and slipcase; otherwise fine.
