Third edition, with frontispiece to vol. 1, engraved title page vignette, and initial at the beginning of each volume, and numerous woodcut arms in text. Marginal foxing; some corners folded; hinges cracked on vol. 1 with some leaves starting; spine label detached on one volume; otherwise a near fine set in a beautiful contemporary binding.
