An illuminated Qu'ran, 19th-century, richly illuminated with gilt floral borders and elaborate head-pieces and bars incorporating red, pink, green, blue and lavender against gilt pointielle backgrounds, floral text separators throughout. Thin 8vo portfolio, full brown morocco stamped and painted in gilt with borders and floral designs, decorated endpapers, partial, only 27ff. Contents largely detached with chipping to the edges of leaves.
