Paris: Jacques Le Febure, 1688. 2 vols. in one. Small 8vo, full mottled calf, spine tooled in compartments, gilt-lettered spine label, marbled endpapers. The second edition in French (Sabin states the 1686 first French edition is "of extreme rarity"), complete with engraved additional title page, three folding maps, and two full-page engravings. Lacking endleaves; minor dampstaining to a few pages and some intermittent brownspotting; repaired tear to map of Panama; bookplate tipped in front pastedown.
