London, 1793, having an urn form finial over the waisted lid, above the oval tapering body with a flat front and back, the sides lobed with an applied C-scroll wood handle, raised on a conforming foot, the whole with bright-cut decoration throughout, further engraved with the crest of a rampant lion within a shield and laurel wreath; approximate total weight 25.12 ozt. Height 12 inches.
