of rectangular form with carved hardstone, mother-of-pearl and coral decoration throughout, one side depicting a woman beneath a flowering tree with a young girl raising up her hat and having inset signature plaque, the reverse depicting a scene of two cranes and flying birds amongst multiple varieties of flowering plants, raised in an ivory stand with inlaid decoration throughout of plants, birds and insects. Height overall 9 3/8 inches.
