Ming Dynasty, the main body decorated with five flowering plants including prunus, lotus, camellia, peony and hibiscus, all gilt and set atop a repetitive diaper reserve with bands of silver inlaid key-fret above and below, the whole raised atop three gilt butterfly form legs, having the artist's six-character mark on the underside contained in a gilt cartouche. Height 3 7/8 x diameter 5 inches.
