having repetitive underglazed blue decoration of lotus blossoms, the top margin having a key fret border with the bottom depicting crashing waves, with underglazed blue Qianlong seal mark on underside, with a pierce carved wood lid containing a pierce carved jade roundel at center and raised atop a pierce carved wood base supported by five squat cabriole legs. Height of bowl 4 1/4 x diameter 7 1/2 inches.
