[Paris:] Ch[arles] Robin, geometre, 1903-4-11. Large hand-colored four-sheet plan of the horse-racing stable and track at the chateau of William K. Vanderbilt at Carrieres-sous-Poissy, pen and ink, graphite and watercolor on laid paper. Vanderbilt purchased the land in an area of Poissy called Les Gresillons, 20 miles outside of Paris, in 1903. He ran a breeding operation in Deauville, making the location, also called "Carrieres-sous-Poissy," particularly convenient. The present grand-scale partially printed watercolor plan is unique. 85 x 33 inches.
