A beautifully illustrated nineteenth-century stammbuch of Johannes Kohle of Biberbach, German, c. 1840, with some pages dated late eighteenth-century. Oblong 12mo, finely bound in full gilt-stamped crimson morocco with circle cut out bearing a hand-painted illustration. With original hand-painted vedute, borders, and genre scenes throughout. Backstrip detached; some browning to pages.
