19th century, surmounted by an urn issuing flowers flanked by grotesque masks issuing fruit and floral garlands, the circular dial having Roman hours and Arabic minutes flanked by two draped classical maidens, set on a stepped break-front base raised on six toupie feet, having Etienne Maxant time and strike movement. Height 22 1/2 x width 13 1/2 x depth 7 3/4 inches.
