Second edition of "the first English book on the power of exercise in treating disease." (Garrison & Morton 1986) Hinges cracked; some loss to spine with portion starting to detach at bottom; light dampstain to first few pages, but otherwise interior is in the very good condition. Together with the sixth edition of the same (1728), also in custom chemise and slipcase, bound in contemporary blind-stamped calf and gilt-lettered spine. (2)
