Continental, French or Italian, 18th century. Louis XIII style walnut double door homme debout armoire (aka 'standing man') having a stepped molded cornice over a two pairs of geometrically molded doors, both opening to a shelved interior and separated by a pair of paneled short, deep drawers raised on front bun feet. The doors mounted with decorative escutcheons and fitted with individual locking mechanisms. Overall approximate height 72.25", width 56.25", depth 23".
