deeply carved throughout with flowering plants with large blossoms, having birds in the air and perched on the rocky outcrops throughout, all having delicately carved feathers and inlaid amber colored eyes, also having a standing phoenix with head turned to the side in the front register, the bottom of the interior carved to resemble leaves resting in the interior, the underside having carved Qianlong reign mark at center encircled by two circling dragons and fire balls. Height 11 1/2 inches
