19th century, of celadon colored stone with some areas of spinach green tone, having lid with floral form finial with raised scrolling decoration, the vase of tapering compressed form with central cartouche at front and back carved with a scene of birds and plants, the reserve having scrolling foliate decoration, raised on a fitted jade stand with conforming foliate carving raised on four squat feet. Height overall 8 1/4 x width 3 3/8 inches.
