London: R. Bonwickem, et al., 1719. 3 vols. Folio, full calf, titles printed in red and black. Second edition, corrected and with amendments and additions. Illustrated with 29 engraved portraits. The first two volumes were compiled by John Hughes, with contributions from several authors, including John Milton and Francis Bacon. Volume III was written (anonymously) by White Kennet, Bishop of Peterborough. Binding sturdy, but all volumes with cracked and splitting hinges.
