having finial of a figure holding fruit above the eight panel lid with inlaid scrolling decoration, the lid with mirror on reverse opening to a fitted interior, the sides containing four relief carved ivory roundels of mythical scenes, the front with four columns each flanking a carved ivory bust of a mythical figure on a pedestal. Height 9 x width 8 1/2 inches.
