London: Henry Sotheran, 1869-1872. Volumes I-IV bound in 2 vols. Folio, 3/4 red morocco, gilt titles to covers, spines gilt in compartments, 5 raised bands, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. With 104 extrodinarily detailed plates that give particular emphasis to the details of domestic architecture in the Tudor age. Inner hinges cracked; some wear to boards and spine; otherwise fine with plates very bright and clean.
