American, 20th century. Carolina Rocker manufactured by P & P Chair Company of Asheboro, North Carolina. Armchair rocker with stained pine wood frame with woven rattan back and seat with turned wood cross support. A similar model of chair was used by the President Kennedy on his family's estate in Hyannis Port. Marked on bottom of arm. Height 44", width 27.25", depth 33". Seat to floor 15.5".
