Attic Drinking Bowl w/Swan & Olive Branch Motif

Greek. Stemless ceramic drink bowl (kylix) with handles on both sides of circular dish decorated with terra cotta colored reddish brown hand painted leaved olive branch on exterior. Interior with swan in central round double ringed medallion with additional leaved olive branch border. Marked on bottom of round foot "XADL". Height 2.6", width (across handles) 9.9", diameter of bowl 7.3". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
