First American edition of this novel by the 18th Century actress and feminist, following the London and Dublin imprints of 1794-5. Mispagination on p. 109. Browning to text; approximately two inches of loss to top corner of p. 9; front and rear flyleaves only partially present; otherwise a sound copy of a scarce item.
