Continental, 19th century. Pair of matching cast pewter metal Baroque style candlesticks or candle prickets. Each with pointed candle pricket at top above circular wax guard raised on a turned shaft on a tripartite base with harpie mounts, heart, scrolled foliate and medallion decoration throughout terminating on three ball and claw feet. Unmarked. Height 19.75".
