Autograph. Reading "'Nuts' A. C. McAuliffe, General, US Army." In December 1944, General McAuliffe commanded the 101st Airborne Division at the Battle of Bastogne. When the Germans surrounded his troops and demanded they surrender, McAuliffe sent the reply: "Nuts!" 4 x 6 inches. Framed. Fine.
