Italian, 20th century. A Neoclassical style parcel gilt and polychrome decorated wood five light chandelier having a simulated drapery stem over a gilt guilloche band and turned and fluted standard decorated with continuous gilt drapery and issuing five acanthus carved scrolled candlearms with wood bobeches and faux wax candlesleeves and joined to the standard by green painted carved laurel leaves, the whole terminating in a berried knop finial. Approximate height 35", diameter 21".
