19th century. Dresser box with hinged lid and top decorated with hand painted scene of seven nude putti figures in a group holding garlands of flowers and fruit in an outdoor setting. Indistinctly signed lower right. Painted image on box mounted ivory with flower and foliate decoration. Interior of box with tortoise shell mounts on edges. Box raised on four metal ball feet. Height 2.5 inches, width 4.75 inches, depth 3.75 inches.
