Oil on canvas painting depicting a romantic kiss between an elegant young beauty and a gentleman with a mustache and red cap riding on galloping horses. Man's dark brown horse with red tassel near horse's hair that compliments the rider's dress. The young woman riding side saddle on a muscular white horse with grey-black spotting on legs. Couples' ride at dusk in a flat grassy expanse with trees on the horizon at back. Signed lower left in black "Alfred D.Dreux." Accompanied with copy of invoice from Robert J. Perham, Fine Paintings, Tockington Court, Bristol, England to Mrs. Thomas V. Patton in 1987 for restoration of painting. Also accompanied with copy of shipping receipt from Packers Camard, La Plaine-Saint Denis with Marche Serpette Antique Market stamp from Dominique Weitz. Framed 20 inches x 23.25 inches. Unframed 15 inches x 18.25 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
