Louis Icart (French 1888-1950), "Confidence"--1926, etching and aquatint with touches of handcoloring. Pencil signed lower margin slightly right of center, artist's blindstamp on left margin. Published in limited edition in 1926. Print depicts two young women wearing sleeveless gowns (woman on left with short dark hair with red earrings and necklace, woman on right whispering in Buddha figure's ear). Both women sitting flanking a blue Buddha figure. Framed 23.75" x 27.75". Image size approximately 16.5" x 21.25".
