English, 19th century. Mahogany wood framed pole screen with thin shaft with acanthus leaf and gadroon motif below turned wood raised on a tripod base with scrolled acanthus leaf feet. Brass arrow hardware with shield form textile of two winged cherubs around basket of flowers holding leaved sprig and ribbons composed of white, grey, brown, and grey beads on red needlepoint ground. Height (to top of urn form finial) 56.5". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
