possibly Imperial Porcelain Factory, the figures of a Mongolian man with a basket and a geisha holding a fan, height: 16. 5 cm. (6 1/2in.) each, apparently unmarked REFERENCE: Sotheby's London September 18-19 2007, Rostropovich-Vishnevskaya Collection Sale, lot 261 features a porcelain figure of a man similar to the present lot, in which the listing also mentions that the works might possibly be of Imperial Factory production. Similar figures to these are also present in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum, where they are listed as Imperial porcelain pieces.
